This album was recorded in February 2020 at a cottage in a small village called Polany located in the Polish Low Beskids mountain range. This location had a strong impact on the music that I composed during that time. Yet the biggest influence on this all was the sudden life threatening illness and of my mother in law during this period. Yet it was her that convinced me to still go and record this music.

The album titles reflect the days on which things were recorded as well as the numbered patches made on the modular synth which was used to compose on. When I arrived in Polany the first couple of days the recordings were pretty heavy and toward the end of my stay these became more calm. I've rearranged the days in a way so that the experience of listening the album as a whole becomes more consistent travel through emotions reflected in these recordings.

All recordings are live improvisations on modular synth and have not been edited afterwards. The album releases with a music video for song no.6 on the album. This animation reflects a farewell moving away into an unknown undiscovered other reality.

This album is dedicated to Jolanta Rawecka, my mother in law, who passed away on the 22nd of February in 2020 not long after this album was recorded. The release date is the 24th of May 2021 which is the birthday of my oldest son.

Big thanks to my friends and family and anyone who has supported me with this. Special thanks to Piotrek, Janek and Piotrek who were with me on this trip to Polany. Big thanks to my wife who always supports me in doing these projects. Last but not least a lot of thanks to Guiseppe for doing the master.
