Guest Lecture at Sichuan University, Chengdu, China
I was invited to give a guest lecture at Sichuan University as part of the IAIA Master Lecture series. I spoke about my work as a tutor at the Royal College of Art, introducing the elective course I developed there and my teaching approach. I discussed the importance of experimentation, both in the work students produce and in the way I teach. I also shared how I like to move learning beyond the university building by working in different environments, while creating a safe and supportive space in which everyone feels free to take creative risks. The lecture concluded with an introduction to my own artistic practice, focusing on Horn, the sculpture I created for the DNBeta Digital Nomad Community in Ziyang.
